Could Smoking Be The Cause Of Nasal Tightening?

Hi so I smoked a half a pack to a pack for about nine months. I quit but right before I quit I got the feeling of sandpaper in my throat as well as nasal tightening. It also happens whenever I m around ciggarete smoke. It docent happen very often but will happen like twice a week still. and If I touch the back of my mouth it goes away. What is this?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of smoking that caused feeling of sandpaper in throat and and nasal tightening.
This clearly indicates that you are allergic to the smoke as even someone smoking around you also is causing the problem.
The treatment of such a problem is to keep away from passive or active smoking.
The smoke by virtue of its irritation is causing an allergy in the nose and throat.
You need no special treatment other than keeping away from smoking.
