Could Slurred Speech Be Due To Tramadol?

Dr. Rynne, A 90-year-old female had a fall. An MRI shows no sign of injury (no stroke, no brain bleed), and she can move her left arm without a problem She is having trouble with coherent speech, however, and we wonder if this could be a side effect of getting tramidol through an IV-drip for a back ache (associated with the fall, we think)? She s also on medication for a bladder infection.
