Could Severe Red Face, Burning Feeling On Face And Stomach With Iron Levels Being High Indicate Allergy?

I started taking vitamin b6-12 with folic acid. I have high levels of iron in my blood. Since starting the vitamin 6 weeks ago, I have a severe red face and a burning feeling on my forehead, cheeks, chin, neck and higher stomach area. Is it an allergy or something more?

Hi and thank you so much for this query

Am so sorry to hear about these symptoms and high levels of iron. Have you been investigated for the possible causes of this increased iron levels? Could it be caused by hemochromatosis? I will suggest that you stop all these supplements and follow through with your iron numbers and get them addressed before going on to continue with supplements if judged appropriate.

I hope this addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for patronizing our services and please do feel free to ask for follow up clarifications and information if need be. I wish you the best of health.
