Could Severe Pain In Thigh Be Due To Blood Clot?

my frontupper thigh has pain in one leg and I could only slide the foot and not lift it. This happened late last night for most of the night. I took ibuprofen, 800 mg, all day, and the symptoms have disappeared. My concern is a blood clot in my leg since I had surgery on the 10th (endometrial cancer surgery) or since my doctor put me on 20mg of a statin drug, this is a side effect; just in case, I stopped the statin. I am 68. Please advise.

Thanks for contacting HCM with your health concern

1. The best way to find out the exact possibility/diagnosis is to visit a Medical Specialist or Vascular Surgeon for examination and investigation [if needed] to exclude Deep vein thrombosis [DVT]

2. One can go with pain management, compression stockings and acetaminophen
