Could Severe Itching On Abdomen And Inner Thighs Be Due To Scabies?
I have had scabies before, so I m extremely paranoid that I have it again. My inner thighs are itchy and my belly itches as well. Just like how it used to be, but my knuckles are not chapped or itchy like when I had scabies. I just don t understand how I could have gotten it again? I have been anywhere dirty, or came in physical contact with anyone other than my family. Is it scabies, or could it be something else?
Hello, Thanks for the query, You might have developed fungal infection. The area of groin around groin is very moist and is prone to develop these infections. Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals. Various antifungal powders like candid are availabe. These can help reduce the moisture as well as control the infection. Please dont use any steroid, it can worsen your condition Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
