Could Severe Cough After Taking Antibiotics Be Contagious?

I had a productive cough and a sore throat that felt like it might be from post nasal drip (no pain when swallowing). No nasal congestion. Now my throat feels fine but I m having nasal congestion/runny nose and a little dizzy. No body aches and energy level is maybe a little less than normal but not bad. Still coughing. I took 3 days of 500mg z pack. Am I still contiguous? I have a preemie at home do I m a little nervous

You would not have any active infection now and not be contagious but the cough and throat discomfort would benefit from daily steam inhalations with tincture of benzoin. Avoid straining your voice and take small, frequent meals.
