Could Repeated Seizures Indicate Epilepsy
A friend's child has had three siezures in the last five months- his whole body stiffens and his color changes. Each time, he has been ill with stomach flu symptoms... should she worry about epilepsy, or are there other conditions that might make a child prone to sieze when he is ill? (The child is 4)

While children can have seizures without developping epilepsy usually due to high fever, it has been shown that those children have a higher probability of having epilepsy than those who don't have febrile seizures, moreover so when there are repeated seizures like in your case.
