Hi,

Red eyes, dry throat, and scratchy throat are not commonly reported side effects of Singular (montelukast), but they have been reported in rare cases. It is possible that these symptoms could be related to the medication, but they could also be caused by other factors, such as environmental allergies or a cold.

It is important to let your doctor know about any side effects you experience while taking Singular. They may recommend stopping the medication or adjusting the dose if necessary. In the meantime, you can try using eye drops or throat lozenges to help alleviate your symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
