Could Rash On Leg Be Heat Rash?

I just noticed a rash on leg, It is about the size of a pea. it is filled with puss. It does not itch. I am 35 have not had any problems with rash before, not on any med. Could this be from heat coming from fan of may laptop sitting on my leg? I was on my laptop for a long time last night with it in my lap and I did notice the heat on my leg.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to a skin infection. I suggest using an antibiotic cream for local application such as Neosporin cream. I also suggest using anti-inflammatory medicine to treat the inflammation in the area such as Ibuprofen.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
