Could Rash On Chest And Around Mouth Be Related To Vaginal Fungal Infection?
I have developed an itchy skin condition. It is a raised rash but is not red and not blisters. It is located primarily on my upper chest, a touch around my mouth and a bit on my scalp. I am currently being treated (with ointment) for a vaginal fungal infection. Could they be related?

Vaginal fungal infection and your rash mostly are not related. The following may be causes of your rash on upper chest, mouth and scalp which could be atopic dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, psoriasis, acne vulgaris, shingles, pityriasis rosea, lichen planus, seborrhic dermatitis, or erythema multiformae.
Only after clinical examination, we can arrive at a specific diagnosis. Please do consult a dermatologist for accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Until then, use calamine lotion to be applied on the rash. Hydrocortisone 1% cream is to be used on the rash. Tab. Benadryl or tab. Cetirizine can be used. Minimize scratching the rash.
