Could Passage Of Warm, Pressured Air From Left Ear Indicate Ruptured Eardrum?

So i was boxing (sparing) with a friend of mine while i was training a got a left hook to my left ear. Now there is no pain but when i pinch my nose and blow air, warm pressured air escapes through my left ear and if i blow in outside cooler air enters my ear? What could possibly be going on from what it feels like i think i might have a ruptured eardrum.

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Relying on your symptom and sign descriptions, the suspicion of eardrum rupture is high. Acute perforations without infection are usually never painful. If you feel or will feel pain associated or not with purulent/bloody drainage , the possibility of associated infection is high.I recommend to avoid eardrops (gentamycin, tobramycin, neomycin) since they carry the risk of ear toxicity.

The best way to confirm the diagnosis is otoscopy (a simple and a fast technique). In order to receive the best treatment, I recommend to visit an ENT doctor and the treatment varies from no treatment at all (if you are not a swimmer, have no infection and have minimal hearing loss) to surgical treatment like tympanoplasty.
