Could Painful And Moving, Loose Ribs Suggest Arthritis?

i have been in lots of car wrecks and was told by a chiropractor to get checked for scoliosis and arthritis runs in my family, that being established i have been in a lot of pain. im seventeen ,F 6'2'' tall and i feel like an old man. It often occurs that a rib of mine will pop inwards so to speak and get stuck like that for weeks until i see a chiropractor and it keeps me from filling up whatever part of my lung it is by. it is a serious problem because it constantly effects me, well here about two weeks ago i started realizing that when i lay down it is as if all of my ribs are loose and move more individually than as one rib cage, per say. any stabs in the dark as to what might be wrong with me so i know what doctor to go to.
