General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the anti nausea and pain medication are not the cause of restless leg syndrome. It is the post surgery era with altered stress hormone levels which has flared up the underlying condition of restless leg syndrome. Over and above the conventional analgesic and anti inflammatory medications, I would recommend
- Low dose benzodiazepines
- Sedative as melatonin
- Supportive multi vitamins, minerals and anti oxidants for better recovery.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
