Could Numbness On Left Side Of Body Be Due To Cipro?

I had colitis after traveling to Hungary and was treated with Cipro. The drug was very hard on me. Two weeks later I had a spinal fusion of c 4-5-6-7. When I woke up after surgery I thought I had a stroke. Everything on left side of my body felt numb, my left hand was curled up and I could not open my hand and I had burning in my right leg that felt like I had been stung by hundreds of fire ants and had neuropathy in over 80% of my body. I asked my doctor if I had had a stroke and he told me he had checked all notes during and after surgery and there was no drop or increase in blood pressure. Could this have been caused my taking cipro prior to my operation?
