Hello there,
I can understand your concern. You are very young and having high blood pressure. This raises concern about the cause of your hypertension. I hope that doctors have evaluated for any secondary cause for your hypertension by getting ultrasound and relevant blood tests. If your HbA1c was between 5.7-6.4% then you are prediabetic and may need to make some changes to your diet and include exercise to lose weight if your BMI is high. Itching over your chest could be due to fungal infection if sugars are very high. However it needs to be examined to know the exact cause. High sugars could cause this fungal infection and lead to itching. Take your medicines on time as prescribed by your physician and do visit your diabetologist to get an examination to find the cause of your itching.
If you continue a disciplined lifestyle your sugars can be controlled without medicines if it is only because of overweight.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
