Could Itching And Red Spots In Throat Be Due To Change Of Brand Of Tea?

Hello. My throat was really itchy today and yesterday and when I looked in the mirror, I had some red spots in the back of my throat. I am not allergic to anything that I know of. I did switch to a new brand of tea yesterday and that is when it began, could it be that?

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the itching and red spots could be because of the allergic reaction to the tea...this is called allergic stomatitis... avoid using that tea powder...and you can take antihistamines like cetrizine once daily for 3 days... do saline gargling. if you develop any itching or rashes over the other parts of the body consult a physician immediately.... i hope my answer will help you.. take care
