Could Intermittent Pain Above Pelvic Incision After Salpingectomy Be A Matter Of Concern?

I had a laproscopic salpingectomy 2 weeks ago today. Ive had some soreness after physical activity, but today I woke with sharp pains that come and go under/behind my belly button, slightly above my pelvic incision, and in lower right back. I have an appointment on Wednesday... I guess what I am asking is should I go into ER or wait it out. It s very painful

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain and soreness in the incision site is usually due to infection of the surgical site.
Infection of surgical site is usually associated with blood and/ or pus discharge.
Association with sharp pain only can be due to nerve injury during surgical procedure.
I suggest you to consult your surgeon for clinical assessment of the incision site.
Nerve injuries usually recover spontaneously but it takes some time.

Thanks and take care
