Could Innocent Heart Murmur In A Child Be Due To Weight Faltering During Pregnancy?
Hello my daughter was diagnosed with an innocent heart murmur a few weeks ago. When i was pregnant with her they said she had whats called failure to thrive. They also continued to check her heart. Can that be the reason why she have an innoncent heart murmur now?

Innocent murmur, as the name suggests, is innocent. These are sounds produced during rapid blood flow through valves and arteries pf heart. It is quite common in children and is not considered a disease or abnormality.
Weight flattering during during or after pregnancy has no relation to this, although anemia can contribute to some extent(so screening for anemia is good).
