Could Increased Level Of Blood Pressure Be The Side Side Effect Of Taking Theraflu Tablets?

I am on blood pressure meds. I was sick and took theraflu for 3 days. Did not take any theraflu today but my blood pressure was very high. Do you think it could be a result of taking theraflu for 3 days? How long does theraflu stay in the system allowing the spike in BP. Thanks

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi, I think your high blood pressure is unrelated to your theraflu tablets. In case your blood pressure is above 140/90, you might need antihypertensive medications to control it. Hope it helps.
