General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for asking at HCM.
I carefully read your question and understand your concern.
If your wife has high uric acid she is at increased risk for joint problems like gout. If she has joint pains and is using antiinflammatories like ibuprofen it might hurt he stomach. Otherwise there is no correlation between uric acid and stomach pain. I do not know the tests your wife had done but she needs a fibrogastroscopy and an abdominal ultrasound to rule out ulcer, gastritis and gall bladder stone.
Hope this is helpful and is answering to your question
