I shaved the hair near my penis and there were many small cuts and wound. After 1 hour i went to have sex with a prostitute. Even though i have wore condom during sex the cuts and wound are not covered.. So is there a chance that hiv virus enter through cuts and wound please help.

Hello
thanks for using health care magic

Am afraid there is a risk of you becoming infected though not high but its a risk. HIV transmission requires fresh wounds that are actively bleeding. The fact that you were having sex and mechanically causing further injury on the skin that had been wounded could have further increase the portal of entry. However, if the wounds were not bleeding, nor deep and there wasn't much vaginal fluid or spreading of vaginal fluid up to the pubic region where you shaved, then the chances of you getting infected are if not zero very slim.

You should however do an HIV screening now and re do in three months and six months using rapid diagnostic tests.
Best regards
Dr Achuo
