Hello. I have carefully gone through your querry & in my expert Opinion its No. Its not like that the lines on which you are thinking. Diabetes doesn't work like that. Its a disease that is Multifactorial regarding the cause. Genetic predisposition, inactive life style, central obesity, insulin receptor destruction, pancreatic damage etc etc
U need special care if you are at borderline readings. I dont know your physician diagnosed you as diabetic or not but one thing is sure STOP ALL SUCH DRINKS IMMEDIATELY and consult your physician for diagnosis / treatment plan and diet and exercise plan.
Quench your thirst with plain water.
Have a balanced diet and least sugar in everything.
Stay blessed and have a healthy life. I hope it Helped you.
