Could Frequent Urination Be Due To Anesthesia Or Prostrate Cancer?

Hi , I would be grateful if you help me please. Subsequent to my colonoscopy procedure today, I keep passing water every hour. Does general aesthetic cause this problem or it could be sign of early prostate cancer which has quantised with my throat investigation procedure today?

Understand your concern
General anesthesia cause urinary retention more commonly than frequent urination. But in your case it may be due to anxiety. Other causes may be UTI(cystitis, urethritis, kidney infections), obstruction of urinary tract either by stone/tumor, prostate enlargement/cancer, prostatitis diabetes.
Frequent urination in prostate problem not always cancer it my be due to enlargement or inflammation of prostate. Get the following tests done : Urine routine and microscopic, blood sugar, PSA, USG to rule out above cause and take proper treatment according to this.
