Could Fallen Arches Be The Cause Of Pain In Foot And Difficulty In Walking?

I have pain in my foot and at times find it hard to even walk with the pain going straight especially into my second toe.
I was told awhile ago that I had fallen arches, would that be the cause of this pain. My foot is sore at all times and the bone on my instep is hurting. thank youj

Hello and welcome.

Yes, fallen arches could be the cause but assuming so and doing nothing to confirm the same would be gross negligence. I would recommend an x ray of the affected region which may be followed up with a few blood investigations. These will confirm the diagnosis and help treat you accurately.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
