Could Dizziness, Lack Of Balance With Confusion Indicate Vertigo?

Yes I have been having some dizziness and lack balance pretty consistently for last couple of days along with some confusion and sometimes my heart seems to beat differently.about a month ago I went to Hospital with severe dizziness and thought I was having a heart attack they diagnosed it as vertigo,now I haven t had the severe dizziness now but I just don t feel right.I am a 42 year old male,Thank you for your time.
