Hi, I am a 58 year old female and for the past year have had a high blood pressure, was put on exforge which seems to have to brought it down, at the moment it is 111/ 65, I am feeling light headed and dizzy . could this be due to blood pressure being to low now?
Hi, Welcome. Yes low bp can cause dizziness but its rare at a pressure of 111/65mm Hg. You should check for orthostatic hypotension i.e. change in bp with change of position. If in changing position from lying down to standing systolic bp falls by >30 or diastolic bp to >15 than you should see your primary doctor. Thanks
