Could Depression Medicine Elevate Cholesterol Level?

Hi, I'm a healthy 53 year old African American female. I was just told by my doctor that my cholesterol was high. I very suddom eat fried food and I work out on the regular. I'm taking medications for depression. Would that have something to do with my cholesterol? Thanks
