Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Swelling of legs with dark spots on the feet are not a usual side effect of Telmo (Telmisartan). Does your mother have varicose veins(dilated, tortuous veins) in the legs and/or thighs?
A picture is worth a thousand words. If you could send me a picture of the affected area, I would be in a better position to help you.
Best wishes,
Dr. Noble Zachariah
