Could Constant Fever In A Child Be Related To His Liver And Spleen Health?

sir my son is 7 years old he ad fever abdomen pain so doctor toold to take usg abdomen in the result everything was normal except he had hepatosplenomegaly , no growth in urine culture also his liver was10.1 cm and his spleen was 8.6cm is there anything to worry about

Hello, The enlargement of the liver and spleen in association with fever and pain can be caused by a number of conditions including infection and blood disorders. Your child's blood can be tested for hepatitis, anemia, sickle cell disease and abnormalities of his liver function. These findings should be followed by your physician. If he develops worsening or localized pain, continued fevers, changes in his stool or urine color, jaundice or vomiting, please seek medical care immediately.
