I am a 39 year old women in good health and I noticed a bump below my belly button it had a white head on it similiar to a pimple. I squeezed it and some pus came out. It has been about a week or so and now it is dark red and there is a hard lump underneath it. It has become so painful I have to take motrin and I can't wear Jeans or tight fitting pants around the waist. Could it be an ingrown hair or an infected pimple?
