Could Appearance Of Shadow In Uterus Be Due To Cancer?

Had a positive blood test for pregnancy a lil over a week ago, 5 days later did repeat bloodwork. The pregnancy levels decreased by almost half. So my dr ordered an ultrasound. There was a shadow in my uterus. Dr says it s not a baby. I m freaking out over what it could be. Said it could be a baby trying to attach or could be smth else. Had 3rd round of bloodwork today, waiting to hear back from dr. I am 31 yrs old, 2 healthy pregnancies at age 21 & 28 at births. I had a uterine ablation in april 2012. Could this be cancer?

You can put this in differntial diagnosis but first you have to rule out most common causes n that would be 1. Pregnancy 2. Ectopic pregnancy 3.abortion 4. H.mole initial phase etc etc n last you can put cancer in these...n may be it is not a cancer as you said hcg hormone level decrease in your statement mostly it should be ectopic pregnancy where empty yok sac in uterine cavity may be seen n abortion as hcg level are decreasing...
