Could Anus Stinging, Urination Delay Be Due To Hemorrhoids Or A Prostate?

Hi- I ve been taking a thermogenic metabolism booster and hitting the gym pretty hard for a few weeks ( and for the first time in a long time). Over the last two weeks I ve been experiancing what I thought was hemerroids, but prep H hasn t helped. The left inner/upper wall of my anus is stinging on and of and peeing is taking a long time...is this all my prostate or a combonation of things?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

In my opinion, the symptoms are not related to each other.

The difficulty in urination can be related to a urinary tract infection.

I recommend doing a urinalysis to confirm the diagnosis and take proper treatment.

The anal odor can be related to an anal fissure. A physical examination is needed to confirm the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
