Could Synthroid Cause Dehydration, Faintiness?

I had thyroid ablation 3 years ago. I am on Synthroid. In the last 3 months, I have had 2 episodes of dehydration. This last time I ended up fainting. I never fainted before in my life and I m in my 60 s. I have one cup of coffee in the morning and then drink water all day long. I eat healthy and try to stay fit. Is the Synthroid causing the dehydration? If not, what else is causing it?
