Could Hepatitis C Treatment Cause Severe Side Effects?
Hello, I have Hep C and have a doctors appointment soon for it, I was diagnosed with Hep C in 1997, I took the interferon injections for 4 months and couldn t handle the side affects. Now I own and drive a 18 wheeler for a living and I m wondering if the new meds are going to have the same side effects? I can not work and I can not be sick all the time either. It s been 17 years since I was diagnosed, at this point is there a point?

All medications would not have the same side effects.Moreover oral drugs have less severe side effects than interferons.Nothing to panic.Suggest you to upload the names of the drugs which you have been prescribed to help you with the specific side effects of these drugs.Get well soon.
