Could Galvus Met Be Causing Skin Itching And Swelling?

My mother is taking Galvasmet 50/850 and insulin for sugar control.She is also asmatic and hypertensive and she takes Atacand for BP. She has noticed her skin gets itchy and swells after she takes the Galvasmet could it be that she is allergic. She is 78yrs.
