Hi,

Pain in abdomen for one week with report of stool showing evidence of an intestinal infection needs further management.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult your Doctor for proper clinical evaluation, examination and correlation with report.
Also get blood tests and ultrasonography of abdomen.
Review stool tests for 2 more days.
Get started with prescription based antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics.
Use boiled for 20 minutes and cooled water.
Eat only homemade fresh foods.
Have regular follow up with your Doctor till cured,
If the problem continues then you will need a second opinion of a Gastroenterologist and further tests such as colonoscopy, biopsy and CT scan of abdomen and further management as per the reports.

I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant,
General Surgeon
