Constipation, difficulty passing stools, throbbing pain post childbirth. Taking laxido, fibogel. Cure?

Hello I had a baby 4 months ago and my bowel movements have never been the same. Initially I think it was constipation and took fibogel , laxido . Lactulose and changed my diet . However I m still struggling to pass the stool and afterwards my bottom hurts for about 8 hours . Can only describe it as shards of glass up there and stings like mad and also throbs ?? It s getting unbearable Thanks

Hi thanks for your question, your having constipation and you took medicine for that, changed the diet ,but nothing is working,It is also giving you trouble during defecation. There can be many reasons responsible for your problem.what your describing as throbs and string, could be pile mass or you may be having anal fissure or some pathology higher up in your large intestine. All these can give rise to constipation .Your advised to consult some surgeon or gastroenterologist and get your colonscopy/sigmoidoscopy done to establish the cause of your problem.Hope i answered your question
