Headache in sinusitis is due to inflammation of the sinus mucosa and accumulation of mucous and pus in the sinus cavity. Most of the medicine that you have mentioned above are decongestants that help in liquifying the hard secretions in the sinus and their drainage. But this will take time.Superadded infection will complicate things. So,expecting sudden recovery is difficult.
Since inflammation is at the heart of the pathology and the main cause for the pain, stronger anti inflammatory drugs than acetaminophen may be taken. This has to be supplemented with decongestants and antibiotics.Rest and plenty of oral fluids is needed.Nasal drops may open up the sinus openings and help in drainage which will again reduce pain.Surgery is the last option when all medical measures fail.
The decongestants mentioned above may be taken for 3 to 4 times at maximum and not more than that.

Hi,
Thanks for using healthcare magic.

I have gone through your available history. You have not mentioned your age which is crucial factor is determining the dose of any drug.

Usual dose of chlorpheniramine ranges from 4-16mg but it depends on many factors including age.

Higher dose of chlorpheniramine may cause sedation and cognitive dullness.
So It is advisable to consult your doctor before doing self -medication.

I hope It will help you.

Thanks,
