Constant Pain In The Lower Rib Cage. Gall Bladder Removed. Have GERD And Gastritis. Elevated Liver Enzymes. Advice?

I have a constant pain under my right, lower ribcage. I had my gallbladder removed a year ago, so I know that's not the problem. In the past month, I've had a CT scan, colonoscopy, endoscopy, and small bowel series. The only thing they've found is gastritis and GERD (which I already knew), and elevated liver enzymes. I've been on Prilosec for 10 years and my gastro doctor changed it to Nexium after my endoscopy. I feel like such a hypochondriac, but I am in constant pain. It also seems as if my reflux is getting worse by the day. Please help! Any suggestions?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
After going through your history you have Gastritis and GERD problem and being treated for long time.
In such cases a test for H. Pylori may be useful if not done already. Then a course of antibiotics along with PPI Nexium may be useful.
Chronic pain is related to mixed anxiety and depression which is treated by proper medications like antidepressants and pain modulators.
Please take care of diet and water intake and practice yoga and meditation.
Please have faith in your Gastroenterologist you will improve in some time.
Please take care
Good Luck.
