ENT Specialist 's  Response
hello, you may have developed a sinus infection with mucus and pus running down your throat causing cough and the pricking sensation.we call this a postnasal drip.see your doctor, get an ENT examination done.if your doctor feels you are having sinusitis, you will be treated with antibiotics and decongestants to open up your sinuses.this will resolve your infection and you will get better.get well soon. dr praveen..
