Chocking Problem Followed By A Dream

hello this morning i was having a dream that i was holding a dog close to my neck and when i try to take it of i felt like it started chocking me, i woke up and had a heart beat that was too fast then normal. Could that have something to do with any problems with my heart that something causes it in my body like clogged blood lines or something and make it work faster cause i felt like something was cutting my respiration?

Hi,
You seem to have had a nightmare which made you anxious and the resultant rapid heartbeat could have been because of that. A nightmare is a bad dream which leads to anxiety and the person can even awaken from it.
As of now, I would suggest not to worry about it. However, if it happens again, a ECG would be advisable initially.
You could give more details about yourself, like your weight, any problems during day or any stress that you might me going through.
Hope I was of help. Best wishes.
