Child With Yellowish, Pus-filled Scabs On The Head. What Could This Be?

I just noticed today on my 8 yr old sons head that he had a yellowish looking little scab that kinda looked like a blister with pus . Then later I noticed he had another on the top of his head. They are not botherin him but when I bring it to his attention, he will touch them. They keep forming these yellowish scabs and look wet. What could this be?
