Child Took Overdose Of Chewable Multivitamin Containing Iron. No Symptoms Of Overdose. Any Future Complication?

My three and four year olds got ahold of their chewable multivitamin that contains iron. They said they only had three of them (18mg of iron in each). They don't have any of the symptoms of overdose and it's been 6 hours. My 4 year old son's urine is bright yellow now. I understand that could be due to the B vitamins. Should I be concerned of any complications as time progresses? I believe my kids are telling me the truth about only having 3 vitamins but can't help but think they may have had more but exhibiting no symptoms of a problem.

Dear welcome to HCM ....
no you should not be concern about any complication in future ,excess of iron is not absorb from GI tract ....
taking iron fortified tablets in excess amount at a single occasion will not cause hemochromatoses or any thing else in future .... it is the excessive internal production (due to increase cell turn over )
or increase parenteral administration in the form of increase blood transfusion for a long time ,can cause complications ....
wish you a very good health ...
