Child Having Episodes For Years, Screaming Then He Urinates On Himself, Bitting Tongue & His Hand. Reason?

My son is 8 yrs old. He s been having these episodes for yrs now & I don t know what it is. He had one 3 days ago after not having one in about a yr r so. He starts off by hollaring screaming then he urinates on.his self. This time I notice new symptoms he was bitting his tongue & his hand was moving like he was artistic. We have been to the emergency rm twice & they don t know why his hand keeps going numb & stiffens up.

As the problem is occurring for nearly a year your son needs to be evaluated thoroughly for this problem. It can either be a physical problem or some inter-personal issue which may arising either at school or some other place. Hence kindly discuss the following evaluation with the treating doctor:
1. Complete clinical examination (which must have been done)
2. Urine examination
3. EEG, if required
4. Assessment by a child psychologist
