Child Having Dry Heaving, Constipation. What Is The Cause?
My child is 10 years old, about 100 lbs and has been experiencing dry heaving for about a week, she was constipated too but that has been resolved but the dry heaving won t stop. The doctors have no clue what is wrong with her and say to just keep her hydrated but a week seems too long for her still to be dry heaving. Do you know what is causing this?

Thank you for consulting HCM.Your child is severy dehydrated in my view after reading the history.As it has been more than one week and you may also hydrated her with oral fluids i think but as still she is dehydrated she needs iv fluids.So consult your doctor for that.The cause may be many like improper nitrition,renal problems etc.
