Child Having Belly Pain, Passes Little Stool Or Long Soft Stools. All Tests Normal. Passing Green Stools. Reason?
My 6 year old son has belly pain every morning for 7 days now and it gets better about an hour after waking up. He says he has to poop every morning, but sometimes a little stool comes out and sometimes soft long stools. He had an xray of his stomach and a urine test at the hospital..they said everything looked fine. Today his stools were long soft bright green stools. What could this be? He has no fever,no vomiting and no headache.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. X ray will not reveal any thing . In my opinion as , consistency of stool is green so for get in an ultrasound of abdomen with emphasis over GALLBLADDER & LIVER. This disorder may relates to gallbladder. As green color in stool may be due to bile ( from gallbladder). Consult a physician and get his opinion. GOOD LUCK FOR LITTLE CHAP. Dr. HET
