Child Has Swollen Lymph Gland, Soft, Movable. Additional Information?

My 4 year old daughter has a swollen lymph gland (behind her left ear lobe)that I am concerned about. She has had it for almost 3 years with no other symptoms. It looks larger now but i think this may be because i am watching it closer the past few weeks and my daughter is very thin and tall. I have taken her multiple times to her physician and always had it checked and his comments are always "its soft and it moves...so its ok". She is a very energic girl with no other symptoms. It really shows when she looks upwards. Her last regular blook screening was in December and was all good. One additional point is that she has enlarged tonsils and the one specifically on that same side is larger (with a red vein running through it). Any additional information or guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks so much!

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Since you got your child examined by your doctor I think you need not worry about it. It is normal to have lymphnodes and if they are above certain size or if they are matted or painful then investigations and treatment is required.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
