Child Has Stomach Cramps, Hurts To Walk, Vomiting. Has Celiac Disease

My 9 year old daughter came in my room last night with strange stomach cramps (hurts when she walks). She vomited about 30 min later. This morning same thing, she walked and then vomited. She has celiac disease and I don t think she got glutened. Her vomit is different this time as well, very, very foul smelling, much worse then ever before.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

* The vomiting with different smell indicate possible intestine infection with some sort of bacterial or viral organism.
* Primary care with antiemetic as Ondansetron syrup or dispersible tablet with secondary care from pediatrician to evaluate the cause and treat in accordance with that.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
