Child Has Severe Cold, Cough. No Advancements With Allegra And Ventolin. What Can Be Done To Ease Cold?
My son is 23 months old. He has a cold and a bad cough . Cough is only during the nights when he sleeps and u can feel a lot of flum inside. he was on allegra and ventorlin for 5 days. Hasnt changed much. in 2 days we are travelling to a colder place. Can u suggest what i could do to ease the cold and ensure it does not increase during the trip. Thank u

stop use of a/c or fan daily,should not use cold food, is anyone from family getting cold?is he repeatdly gets cold? start with Sitopladi churna with honey,liq.septiline and use hot water for drinking.must not use chocolates,bournvita etc.

If there is no improvement with proper doses of allegra and ventrolin, then involvement of lower respiratory tract must be ruled out. She may need antibiotic or nebulisationas condition is not improving.
So I would suggest you to consult your doctor for proper clinical and laboratory evaluation and to see whether any antibiotic or nebulisation is needed or not.

good evening, the cough at night times following cold is due to post nasal drip. so to control his cold and running nose u can try syp sinarest af- arround 3.5ml thrice a day, for the cough u can go ahead with ventrolin. clear his blocked nose with saline nasal drops. he may require a course of antibiotics if the symptoms are not controlled, so i suggest u to kindly review with ur doctor.
