Child Has Red Dots On Legs, Not Itching Or Painful, Has Cough. Is It Allergy?

My three year old son just started a few hours ago getting a few small red dots on his legs like his knees and some on his arms.Do they not itch him or hurt. He does have a cough and got over a touch of the flu a week ago. Not sure if its an allergy to something he ate today or part of him being sick.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

It is difficult to comment on those red dots with out examining them. Are they blanching on pressure or not?

Please get your child examined by a doctor to identify the etiology and arrive at a diagnosis.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
